Development kit description:

This development kit that allows easy test of energy harvesting capabilities of AmbioMote. The kit comes with several AmbioMotes, sensors and a USB interface. Everything comes preconfigured so you can start testing in a few moments. 

Configuration and visualization software is included into the kit. Use your own energy harvesting element or use one offered in our Energy Harvesters category.

Harvester description:

Piezoelectric energy harvester compatible both with AmbioMote24-A and AmbioMote24-B.Depending on frequency and magnitude of mechanical vibration, this harvester can continuously drive most of the sensors offered with AmbioMote development kit.

Resonant frequency of this element can be tuned by changing the clamping point and/or adding a mass at the end.
